Goodness. Yesterday at 4pm EST everything got live in the NFL. Brandon Marshall traded to the Chicago Bears for two packs of peanuts and some Flintstones vitamins….ok maybe just two 3rd round picks in 2012 and 2013.
Vincent Jackson finally got his wish and got the hell up outta San Diego. He changed teams but kept his climate virtually the same heading to sunny Tampa Bay for 5 years, 55.6 million and 26 million guaranteed.
Pierre Garcon said that he’s not trying to rebuild with Andrew Luck and decided he’d rebuild with Robert Griffin III and signed with the Washington Redskin for 5 years, 42.5 million and 21.5 million guaranteed.
Why in the hell would Reggie Wayne resign the Colts? This is the same guy that gave his 4th string jumpoff his credit card. You guys shouldn’t be surprised. If he made bad decision with his credit card and a jump off then you should not surprised that he’d make one with his career. In his defense…he probably is getting the most money from Indy, he’s comfortable there, he’s got a ring, and his career is slowly on the decline…get as much money as you can before you get out. I’m thinking from the perspective of a fan that wants to win…maybe Reggie doesn’t want to do that.

Oh, and this just in….Calvin Johnson just signed a 7 year extension for 132 million with 60 million guaranteed. The richest contract ever given to any position.
