So…Northern Illinois got molly whopped by Florida State last night in the Orange Bowl. Here are my thoughts.
1. Northern Illinois didn’t keep the game close last night, FSU kept the game close.
2. The difference in athleticism was about as obvious as a light pole in a haystack.
3. Look, no one loss non-AQ should ever, every play in a BCS bowl game.
4. Georgia, Oklahoma, LSU, Clemson, and South Carolina would have put up a better fight against Florida State than Northern Illinois did last night.
5. How many trick plays did they have to run just to stay in the game with FSU?
6. The final score was 31-10….and Florida State played terrible.
