So, Richard Sherman has been poking at Darrelle Revis since last month. Welp, Revis finally took the bait and the two went back and forth on Twitter yesterday. Here are my 6 Thoughts on this topic.
1. Why are two people that will never be on the same field at the same time arguing with each other?
2. Why is Richard Sherman wildin’ for respect? Because he had a great year and was only a Pro Bowl alternate maybe?
3. Why the hell is Darrelle Revis reacting anyway? He’s never going to jam or cover Sherman. He’s the King, Sherman is trying to be the King. Does Jay-Z respond to half the people that come at him?
4. This feels a lot like little brother trying to upstage big brother.
5. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit, if Sherman, who was drafted in the 5th round of 2011 is making all this noise so he can hold out this season and ask for more money.
6. Yes, it’s a very slow news day when I have to talk about this shit. At the end of the day though, Sherman has had two good seasons and Revis has had six. Consistency is what matters. Revis has to play in a division with Tom Brady. Sherman has to face who? Sam Bradford, Kevin Kolb, Colin Kaepernick/Alex Smith? Come on dogg…chill.
