6 Thoughts: Not Even the NCAA Can Tackle Johnny Manziel

By: Richard Boadu

Johnny Manziel’s summer of not giving a damn came to a hault when he almost got jammed up by the NCAA for allegedly taking money from autograph dealers. If SEC defenders can’t tackle Johnny Football, what makes you think the NCAA can? Johnny Manziel won with a only a half game suspension for “inadvertently” violating NCAA rules. Here are my thoughts.

1. Dez Bryant was suspended an entire season for lying about having dinner at Deion Sanders’ house.

2. Terrelle Pryor was suspended five games for exchanging tattoos for autographed memorabilia. Not to mention, that five game suspension didn’t include his upcoming bowl game, but was to start at the beginning of the next season.

3. What’s the between them and him?

4. At this point the NCAA is more inconsistent than Tim Tebow in the NFL.

5. If you thought Manziel didn’t give a damn before, after pulling this spin move on the NCAA, he truly will not give two sh*ts.

6. Dez Bryant and Pryor may have been unfairly punished, but who cares, life isn’t fair. Johnny Football is interesting and I’m glad he gets to play this season.
