Terrell Owens – “I’m in Hell”

In a recent interview with GQ, that hits newsstands next week, Terrell Owens tells Gentleman’s Quarterly that when his friends ask him where he’s at his response is “I’m in Hell”.

If Owens doesn’t care about his legacy why should we? Did you hear? Owens is now playing for the Allen Wranglers in the Indoor Football League, and it’s not because he loves the game it’s because he’s broke. Let’s be optimistic…the good is that Owens will also be co-owner of the Wranglers. If T.O. plays well enough an NFL team could give him another shot.

Now let’s be realistic, Owens is mulling over whether or not he’ll play in all of the Wranglers games or just the home games. Somethings never change. I read the GQ story, by Nancy Haas who did a great job, the story is dope! In the story, Owens is still blaming everyone else for ALL of his problems. He blames the media for not giving him a chance to rehab his injury, blames agent Drew Rosenhaus for not protecting him from a bad business arrangement, and he blames former Philly teammate Jeremiah Trotter for his issues with former Philadelphia teammate Donovan McNabb.

Checkout these excerpts from Owens GQ interview,

“I think people change, but the media, they never allowed me to change,” Owens says. “They never allowed me to be a better person.”

He says he’s never been diagnosed as clinically depressed but he’s been “real down.”

“I don’t have no friends — I don’t want no friends,” Owens says. “That’s how I feel.”

That’s all I got,
