6 Thoughts: Terrell Owens 2012 So Far…

Going into 2012, Terrell Owens wasn’t looking too good. In October 2011, he joked to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith that he was retiring and then just three weeks later he held a workout that no only the dead grass and his trainer decided to show up for. 2012 has been much of the same as he was cut from his Indoor Football League team, the Allen Wranglers yesterday. And now today, he’s threatening to sue them.

1. So…he signed with the IFL Wranglers under the premise that he’d only play home games and be part owner of the team. Only home games? That shows NFL scouts the dedication and lack of being a team player that they want to see.

2. Watching T.O. on Dr. Phil was unbearable. Plenty of NFL players have several baby mama’s but they don’t subject themselves to national criticism.

3. Terrell Owens won’t let Terrell Owens be great. Even though he’s second all-time with 153 touchdown catches, Owens’ could be greater. Stop talking to the media, please!

4. He wasn’t playing in the IFL for the love of the game or even to show NFL teams that his ACL was healed, he was playing because he’s broke.

5. Who skips out on a children’s charity event though?

6. Love him or hate him, the rise and fall of T.O. is tragic and will be a great 30 for 30 movie.

That’s all I got,
