So…NFL hopeful, Nick Kasa was at the NFL Scouting Combine last week. He was asked if he was gay. Here are my thoughts.
1. You’re not very smart Nick.
2. You’re essentially applying for a job and you go and tell the media about some questionable things that happened in the interview? Yah..not smart.
3. If Nick will talk bout this then he’ll talk about other things when he gets on a team. Coaches, GMs, scouts want ball players not media leakers.
4. He seems like a perfect fit for the New York Jets.
5. The league shouldn’t be asking these questions…but the league shouldn’t be doing a lot of things that they are doing. Stuff happens though.
6. I’m not even totally convinced the people asking the questions were concerned with his sexuality as much as they were with his reaction to the question. The game is 90% mental so if I was a scout or GM I’d push buttons to see what a players mental toughness is like.
