So…someone asked Donovan McNabb what he thought about RGIII’s off season. McNabb really didn’t have anything positive to say about it. Check out my six thoughts below.
1. Opinions and assholes…everyone has one and Donovan’s latest on RGIII is totally off base.
2. He sounds old and bitter which is never good.
3. How does McNabb know what RGIII has going on in his life?
4. I understand McNabb was asked a question, but he could have easily found a better answer than,
“It’s too much right now; it’s just too much,” McNabb told the Washington Post from his Arizona home. “I get some of the things he’s doing to draw attention to himself: the adidas commercials, going out and enjoying the life of a young, famous NFL quarterback. I understand RG has a lot of stuff going on.
“But if you’re coming off ACL surgery, you don’t need to be having a press conference at OTAs. Every week? Really? It becomes a circus, a sideshow. It takes away from the focus of what those sessions are supposed to be about: the team.”.
5. What does RGIII have going on? Ok, he’s getting married this off season. So what? As long as he’s taking care of his rehab, nothing else really matters.
6. Rob Gronkowski’s 2012 off-season could be seen as “doing too much”…RGIII’s is normal, perfectly normal.
