So…Johnny Football sent out these tweets over the weekend. Check out my thoughts on his tweets below.
1. Why hasn’t Coach Kevin Sumlin taken away this kid’s social media privileges?
2. In Johnny Football’s defense he’s only 20 years old. You’re almost required to do at least four stupid things a week while in college, so I’ll let him make it.
3. This might work in Manziel’s favor. People in College Station might start to not like him and not bug him for autographs as much.
4. This might work against him though. If he thinks fans asking for autographs is annoying, wait until unruly fans don’t ask for anything and just demand what ever he has on him.
5. Maybe a Hesiman trophy and all the attention that comes with it isn’t a good thing for a Freshman.
6. Winning is the only thing that matters and as long as Johnny Football brings at least an SEC title to College Station this season, none of this will matter.
