A lot has been going on since the Longhorns lost to Baylor last Saturday. Is Mack Brown leaving? Is Nick Saban taking his place. Will Anchor Man 2 be as good as the original?

1. Okay, no brainer here, Mack Brown is done. Mack gone, Mack gone, Mack gone.

2. I don’t think Nick Saban is going to take the Texas job though. I praying to the football gods of the Western World that Saban turns down Texas and that the Longhorns put their nuts on the table and mozy on down to College Station and make Kevin Sumlin an offer he can’t turn down. So what he just signed an extension, that doesn’t mean he can’t leave. Can you imagine….Kevin Sumlin leaves A&M to coach Texas. Oh…the headlines.

3. I wonder what Mack and Nick are telling their recruits right now. Like if you’re being recruited by one of them, hell both em which is likely, who do you believe?

4. Crazy, how three coaching legends – Mack Brown, Bobby Bowden and Joe Paterno were not able to go out on their own terms.

5. If this can happen to Mack Brown, it can definitely happen to Bob Stoops.

6. What’s left for Nick Saban? Why stay at Alabama? You’ve won twice there. Why not come to Texas in a lesser conference and just continue to dominate?
