6 Thoughts: Super Bowl XLVIII

6 Thoughts: Super Bowl XLVIII

Here is what I thought about last night’s Super Bowl.

1. Joe Namath is a brother. He just has a melanin deficiency that’s all.

2. So basically, the two best teams in the NFL play in the same division, that being the NFC West. Dope. The NFC Championship was the real Super Bowl. Just like it was back from ’92 – ’94 when the Cowboys and 49ers played three years straight for the right to win the Super Bowl before they won the Super Bowl.

3. The running QB is here to stay. The mobile QBs, like Steve Young and Aaron Rodgers have titles, but our first “running QB” has his. Congrats Russell Wilson. Think about this, Colin Kaepernick gave the Seahawks more problems than Peyton Manning.

4. I hate to see this happen to Champ Bailey. He deserves a Super Bowl ring.

5. Can we stop all of the talk that this is the best set of weapons Peyton Manning has ever had. There’s no way in hell that Reggie Wayne, Marvin Harrison, Brandon Stokely, Dallas Clark and Edgerrin James were going to go out like that. Decker couldn’t get off the line. Demariyus looked like he was playing JV ball and everyone was else was just plain out matched.

6. Jimmy Johnson, Barry Switzer, and Pete Carroll. None of these guys were from the school of Bill Parcells, they lean a little more Jerry Glanville. Energetic, players coaches who were able to win it all in both college and the pros.

Random thought….

Did you see Earl Thomas’ kicks…man!
