Today, TMZ released footage of what went on between Ray Rice and his then fiancee inside of an Atlantic City casino hotel elevator. The events led to Rice being charged with assault and being suspended two games by the NFL.

1. The two busiest Mondays of the year are always in February and September. Those being the day after the Super Bowl and Monday after the first NFL Sunday in September. The timing of this video coming out after the first Sunday of NFL football is remarkable. TMZ knows exactly what they are doing.

2. I don’t buy that the NFL didn’t see this video. I just don’t.

3. As long as Ray Rice didn’t lie to the Commissioner, I don’t think he should be punished again. Whether the NFL saw the tape or not. They knew that Rice hit his then fiancee. They dropped the ball punishing him two games. You don’t need to see the video to add onto the punishment. They should have got it right the first time.

4. If Rice did lie about what happened in the elevator, then he should be suspended for the year.

5. If the NFL is lying about seeing that film, then Roger Goodell should be fired.

6. The Ravens just cut Ray Rice. Wow.
