The New England Patriots have been known as cheaters in the NFL for over a decade now. Their latest scandal is “Deflate Gate”. Here are my thoughts.
1. So the Patriots’ balls were a little deflated. Big deal. Well technically, this is cheating…even though it’s minor. Cheating is knowingly breaking a rule in order to gain an advantage, which is what they did.
2. A wise man once said, “If you ain’t cheating, you ain’t trying.”
3. Head Coach, Bill Belichick, would have nothing to do with this, so save your “Belicheats” please. The only people that would even know about this would be Tom Brady and the equipment managers.
4. The Patriots played better in the second half when they were forced to use the properly regulated balls.
5. Last time I checked, Brady still needed time in the pocket to throw the deflated ball. His wide receivers still needed to get open to catch the deflated balls and the Colts only scored seven points.
